Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which tooth-colored composite resin material is applied to tooth surfaces, sculpted into shape, bonded and hardened with a curing light, and then polished to match the surrounding teeth. Bonding is among the easiest and least expensive cosmetic procedures to improve the appearances of a chipped or fractured tooth, discolored tooth or close spaces between teeth. Bonding will give you a beautiful smile quickly, but over time, the color could be stained by coffee, tea or smoking. To prevent staining, it is important to brush your teeth often and to have them cleaned routinely by our hygienists. Also keep in mind that composite resin used in bonding is not nearly as strong as your natural teeth, so biting your fingernails or chewing on ice is going to shorten the lifetime of your bonding. Overall, bonding is the choice of treatment for patients who are looking to improve minor tooth imperfections and their smile.

Veneers

Veneers are fabricated from porcelain that are a thin, semi-translucent facing bonded to the front side of your teeth. Veneers are durable, stain-resistant, and very natural looking. Veneers on your teeth can correct nature’s mistake or even the results of an injury to help you have a beautiful and natural smile. They conceal broken, chipped, discolored, crooked and misshaped teeth with a minimal amount of preparation to the teeth. The procedure will typically require two appointments with the dentist and occasionally a quick visit to our local dental lab to have a custom shade fabricated with the lab technician to guarantee you the beautiful smile you have always wanted.

Lumineers

LUMINEERS are a contact lens-thin porcelain technology that can provide you the beauty and strength, while preserving your natural tooth structure. That means anyone can have a beautiful smile, which can be a life-changing procedure.

In most cases, because LUMINEERS require little to no preparation, there is no anesthetic or discomfort, or removal of sensitive tooth structure. They can improve a wide variety of conditions such as unwanted spaces, discolored or stained teeth, or misshaped teeth. LUMINEERS can even bond to existing crowns and bridgework without having to replace them!

Typically, it will require two dental visits to have the smile you have always wanted.
