Your teeth are restored back to its natural form, function and beauty all in a single appointment…so you can spend more time doing what is important to you.
After the doctor examines the tooth and determines the course of your treatment, he will prepare your tooth for restoration similar to traditional treatment methods. Your prepared tooth will then be coated with a safe, tasteless powder, which then allows the doctor to use a state-of-the-art digital 3D camera to create a digital impression. This digital image replaces the vinyl material impression required in traditional procedures. Next, the digital image is scanned into the computer, which allows the CAD software and the doctor to design and customize every precise detail of your restoration to exactly fit your specific clinical needs. While you wait comfortably, your exact design is sent to the milling machine located in our sterilization area ready to create your restoration. In about fifteen minutes your all-ceramic and colored-matched restoration is ready for placement. Many of our patients stand by the milling machine to watch their restoration take shape and are in awe of the technology, while others enjoy the down time and have been known to take a snooze in the chair! Your new restoration is then fitted, polished and bonded in permanently back to its natural form, function and beauty.
